Victoria “Tori” Daywalt is an attorney who cares about each of her clients and enjoys being a helping hand to those dealing with a frustrating situation or coping with the loss of a loved one. Tori’s goal for her all clients is to resolve legal issues as quickly and cost effective as possible. With her probate and estate planning clients specifically, Tori has seen how difficult and stressful probate can be on family members and understands the importance of effective estate planning. Tori’s goal is to make the difficult stage of grief easier by drafting wills tailored to each of her clients and assisting clients through each stage of probate.

Prior to founding Daywalt Law PLLC, Tori was an attorney at a local Houston law firm advising clients in estate planning, probate, real estate and general business matters. Before that, Tori worked in Downtown Houston as a state and local tax consultant at Deloitte LLP focusing on state income/franchise tax disputes and strategies.

Tori graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a B.B.A in Finance. She earned her Juris Doctorate and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Houston Law Center. Tori developed a strong interest in the area of probate and estate planning and continued her education to pursue an LL.M. in taxation to focus on studying estate planning, post-mortem estate planning, while also gaining knowledge in both corporate and partnership tax. While in law school, Tori interned for the U.S Attorney’s Office and a local Houston law firm. She was also an active member of the Hispanic Law Students Association and served as Managing Editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy.

Tori was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. Tori met her husband, John, in law school and they reside in the heart of Montrose with their dogs, Johnny Cash (“Cash”) and Theodore (“Theo”). On the weekends and free time, Tori enjoys walks in Memorial Park with John, Cash and Theo. She also enjoys reading and is a Provisional Member of the Junior League of Houston.
